Alice or Dorothy
I enjoy old fantasy films like Disney’s Alice in Wonderland (1951) and 1939’s The Wizard of Oz. With these classic films shown from generation to generation, a thought popped into my head-- are some people more like Alice or Dorothy?
I don’t know how to celebrate Christmas
I love the Christmas season. I love most Christmas movies and music, Christmas lights and decorations (especially when wrapped around bare trees—it makes the trees look brighter, cooler, and futuristic), and the smell of pine trees. Is it just me, or do people seem to be kinder this time of year? There is one thing that makes my crisp, pure snow idea of Christmas into a dirty pile of slush—I don’t know how to celebrate Christmas.
Things that scared me as a child
We're upon Spooky Spooky Skeleton season aka Halloween/Fall season. It's time to break out the creepy decorations, cozy sweaters, pumpkin spice lattes and your laughter for some things that freaked me out as a child.

–Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Disney’s Alice in Wonderland was one of my favorite childhood movies. Whenever I watched it, I felt like I was going on an adventure with Alice in this trippy weird world filled with these nonsensical talking creatures. Since then I had an affinity for items and objects that reminded me of Wonderland like tea parties, cookies, pretty chinaware, playing cards, chess pieces, and mirrors.
